Located in an apartment block of an old athenian neighbourhood, the apartment has had a strong character of the '60's, which both the architect and the client wished to preserve, adapted to suit simplicity and a sense of pairing things back to the fundamentals.
The challenge has been to update the space’s atmosphere by just redoing the threshold-hallway and the bathroom, while at the same time celebrating the original wooden floors and arched doorways. The old and the new coexist in a bold and at the same time gentle and delicate manner.
